Judy Nauseef Landscape Design develops each
landscape design based on the needs, interests and living style
of the client. Judy meets with the client to gather the information
she will need to prepare a design that compliments the life style
of the family. She will learn the number of people living in the
house and how many are children and how many are adults. Their
activities are closely tied to the landscape and need to be compatible.
The ideas the client has are vitally important to the process.
Judy will take into consideration all requests and needs. Landscape
designers study site characteristics, such as size and shape of
the lot, exposure (to sun, shade, wind, rain and snow), soils,
slope, neighborhood, style of house, utility access and existing
plants. The site is measured and photographed so that an accurate
base map can be drawn. This will be the basis of the design, insuring
that the design will fit the lot, enhance the house, and create
a beautiful and comfortable yard using suitable plants, paths,
hard surfaces, garden structures, outdoor lighting and water features.
Judy is available for landscape consultations on an hourly basis.
Judy Nauseef Landscape Design works
with some customers who plan to install their designs. These gardeners
will have a plan they can follow and build as time and finances
permit. Other customers, once the design is completed, are ready
to have it installed by a landscape contractor. Judy can help find
a contractor and is available to manage the installation, overseeing
scheduling, checking of materials, placing plants and reviewing
the work in progress as well as when completed. She provides customers
with the information needed to maintain the designs.
