I often sit on my porch and watch the cars drive very slowly round three sides of
my yard. Then there are the amateur photographers who want to take pictures, and
the people who stop to admire or wonder what a plant is as I work in the yard. That
is where Judy Nauseef comes in. I planted my first plant in 2001, not knowing a
thing about plants or design. By 2003 I knew I needed help. Judy designed
plantings for a corner bed subject to all kinds of design constraints. It turned
out beautiful, easy to maintain, and free of rabbit damage or the need for watering.
I've learned so much since then working with Judy. She'll design a garden, or
walk about with me for an hour offering advice and suggestions. I'll try some on my
own, and she'll help me correct the problems. Above all, she puts up with my
gardening whims and fancies! And the result? One of the comments I frequently
hear from those passers-by is 'I have loved watching you reclaim one area of the
yard after another.'

Judy helped me tremendously in choosing and placing plants in my new raised beds. All gardens are a constant work in progress, but with Judy’s advice I got the effect I wanted years earlier than I would have doing it on my own. I also appreciated that Judy was available for advice after the plan was completed.

We enjoyed working with Judy who was very knowledgeable, creative and responsive to our needs in designing a landscaping plan for our property. She was also conscientious about making sure the design was correctly executed by the landscapers, and followed up with us after the plants had been placed to ensure that the plants were healthy and that we knew how to care for them. We are very happy with the results.

Working with Judy is so simple. She has the uncanny ability to visualize the colors, depth and shadows needed to create a place of serenity. Gazing at the gardens she has completed for us provides a nonverbal experience that makes me feel at peace.
